The Junior Business and Professional Woman's Club of San Diego (Junior BPWC) was founded and organized on April 1, 1921 by Augusta L. At the time, Fraser was president of the San Diego BPWC and Willis was the secretary of the local YMCA. The club began with 18 members and had 39 by the end of its first year.
